About the trip
We leave San Francisco early at 5:30 a.m. and drive through California’s Central Valley, known for its vineyards, oranges, figs, and other fruits. We arrive at Yosemite around 10 a.m. Our first stop is a lookout with amazing views of El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall—perfect for photos. Then we head deeper into the valley, stand under the towering El Capitan, and take a 3–5 hour hike on the John Muir Trail. You’ll get close to waterfalls, feel the mist, and snap great pictures of the mountains.
After the hike, you can choose to visit the Visitor Center for souvenirs and dinner, or head back to El Capitan to see just how huge it really is and touch the wall. Because we’re a small group of up to four people, we can easily adjust the plan to match what you like. This flexible, fun trip offers some of the most impressive views in one of America’s top national parks.
