At The Flyer in Fisherman’s Wharf, you strap into a moving seat and rise toward a giant screen for a simulated flight. Choose a San Francisco route or a cross-country trip across the United States. The experience lasts about 15 minutes, though the main film may be shorter.

“Awful- 7 minutes of some video with NO narration so you didn’t know what you were seeing - can get better on google if you ask for video drone of sf. The seats moved a bit sure and there was wind but the ad said it was 20 min total with preview etc….I asked the guy after and he said everything changed from Covid….but adding narration. To the 7 minutes has zero to do with Covid…don’t waste your money…”

7.Kids Thrill Zone Combo at PIER 39

★★★★★★★★★★3.9 · 13 reviews · 1 day · from $34

Spend one day at PIER 39’s Flyer Thrill Zone with four attractions: The Flyer, Rush Wingsuit VR, 7D Ride Experience, and Laser Maze Challenge. You’ll see San Francisco from the air, tackle a sci-fi VR mission, shoot at monsters, and crawl through laser beams.

“The Flyer and the 4D/shooter experience was really fun. The VR headset portion was just okay. The only game available was where you jump off a plane, and it was hard to control the game so not too fun. There was something wrong with the maze, so we have maze passes we’ll hopefully not lose till we get back to SF. Disappointed we couldn’t just finish this experience.”
