“A must do if you have the time and a great way to see what Sonoma and Napa Valley have to offer. First stop was Muir Woods, a whistle stop tour but you get there early and have the woods to yourself. We visited a good selection of small family run vineyards which were all different in their own right. Ru Vango was something else, the owners collection of art including their Salvador Dali collection was amazing. We also had the opportunity to walk amongst the vines whilst enjoying the wine and sampling some of the grapes. The lunch stop in Sonoma really good, a huge selection of restaurants, cafes…”

“We had an amazing time with Doug as our tour guide/driver! All three wineries were very enjoyable. The castle was our favorite but Tamber Bay and Ru Vango were still very nice. The only downside was that you don’t get a tour of any of the wineries to really talk you through the wine making process. We would book again!”

On the day of the reservation, Carlos was friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and a good driver. The van that came for us was clean and stocked with water. It was large enough to fit 8 adults comfortably, and we were easily able to connect to the Bluetooth music system and adjust the temp. We spent the day visiting two wineries with lunch and coffee in between. Highly recommend!”

Full-day Private San Francisco to Napa Valley Tour by Luxury Car

15.Full-day Private San Francisco to Napa Valley Tour by Luxury Car

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 69 reviews · 6 hours (approx.)

Travel from San Francisco to Napa in a private luxury vehicle for about six hours. Choose your winery stops, including Domaine Carneros, while your driver handles the road. Dan may be your guide, though service can vary. Tasting and reservation fees are extra.

“This is a car ONLY setup not a TOUR at all. I had to do all the work to setup the winery tours and itinerary. Clearly the title says Winery Tour. Be very careful, if you know where you want to go and want to setup, all the visits, then consider it. The driver was great and the ride was comfortable but I did not expect to do all the work. Viator needs to better screen its operators. None of the reviews state that you have to setup your own tours. Also, our driver knew nothing about the area and was quiet the entire trip.”
